<h1>

Watchdog Branding

</h1>

<p>

I was approached by a company to revisit the design of their branding and the implementation of the branding into both the landing page and the web based application. Watchdog is a device attached to energy storage that reports temperature and voltage of the batteries. This data is then used to infer battery health, overall life, and other information key stakeholders can use to make educated decisions around the batteries.

Solution

<p>

The logo is constructed of a "copper wire" that creates the message icon and dog head. This is ment to visually convey the battery communication feature and make the logo serve as a mascot. Colors, fonts, and its rule set have all been defined. The colors are varied enough to allow for use on both white, black and colored backgrounds.

My Part

<p>

I was the sole designer in this project and developed the project from drawing ideation to full presentation. Today I am currently working on the application design and starting the UX process defining the objectives of the application and its current pain points. There is alot of work to be done on this project but I felt it was at a stage now where I could display the first stages.

<h2>

To Sum It Up

</h2>

<p>

While this project is ongoing I am proud to say the concept was accepted and the next stages of the project are moving along quickly. While the application and landing page design are not updated currently I am hopeful the developer handoff will be happening sooner rather than later.
